Tyres, pneumatic &c.-Relates to non-slipping and non-puncturing treads for pneumatic and other elastic tyres, the tyres described in Specification No. 10,595, A.D. 1900, being referred to. In the form shown in Fig. 1, two strips b, d of perforated canvas are interposed between rubber layers a, c, e thickened towards the centre. A leather strip f is let into the layer e, and retains in position wires g which project into a hole cut out of the layer a. In a modification, the layer a has a central rib and the wires project near the sides of the rib. There may be an inner canvas or metal lining, or the leather strip may be let into an ordinary tyre.
