The tool 18 has a shank 20 fitting the eye-bolt and a hole 12 in the shank A. By tightening the nut the tool is clamped against an abutment 13. The tool may have any desired cutting-edge 21. A boring-tool 23, Fig. 5, may be placed in an oblique groove in the tool head and held by a tongue 27 engaging a slot in the tool and bearing against the abutment 13. The tongue is prevented from falling out by a grub screw 29.
