Feeding sheets.-In a machine for printing in several colours, the sheets of paper, cardboard, glass, tin-plate or other material are fed to grippers which are opened by mechanism similar to that described in Specification No. 15,515, A.D. 1897. The grippers are mounted upon an endless carrier. An auxiliary feeding apparatus, similar to that described in Specifications No. 3587, A.D. 1895, and No. 15,516, A.D. 1897, may be employed. This feeding-apparatus comprises a series of grippers which transfer the sheets to the main feeding-apparatus.
