Springs, arrangement of; frame construction.- Relates to motor-cycle side-cars in which the sidecar is supported on' inner and outer arms or levers, the inner lever being connected to the cycle and the outer lever to the side-car wheel-axle. A chassis for this kind of side-car comprises a longitudinal member carrying the levers, and resilient means associated with the member and levers. As shown, the longitudinal member A, which carries supports 7, 8 for the body 10, is provided with a transverse bearing 12 in which is mounted the crank or pivot 15 connecting the inner and outer levers 16, 18. The bearing may be adjustable longitudinally of the member A, and the crank 15 is adjustable laterally in the bearing, clips 12a being provided to secure it in position. The resilient element 14, preferably a laminated spring, as described in Specification 165,704, is adjustably connected to the member A by a clamp 13 and is shackled or otherwise connected to the levers 16, 18. The front end of the member A is bent towards the cycle to which it is connected by a coupling 4, preferably as described in Specification 144,613, while the arm 18 is connected to the cycle by couplings 19, 20 preferably as described in Specifications 152,613 and 152,615, [both in Class 136 (iii), Velocipedes &c., Kinds &c. of].
