Abstract
1253. Hughes, R.. F. Jan. 18. Home-trainers; stands; supports for bicycles. A pin or rod B, adapted to enter the horizontal arm of the usual L-pin, is fixed to a pair of inclined legs or struts C, which may be adjustable by means of screwed ends or other means, as shown at D. The pin B may remain within the L-pin and be provided with short lugs &c., on to which detachable legs, carried on the bicycle, may be fitted when desired. The length of the legs may be adjusted to cause the driving-wheel to rest on or be raised above the ground. A spring catch or other locking-device may be fitted on the end of the pin B, to bold it within the L-pin.
