T e e t h , artificial.- Tooth clasps for use in artificial dentures are formed in one piece of metal and comprise bands or fingers having slits to facilitate adjustment. In the form shown, the clasp comprises bands 1, 2, a cusp 4, and a tail-piece or anchorage 3. The band 1 and tail-piece 3 are formed with a continuous slit 5 and the band 2, which is on a lower level than the band 1, is formed with a slit 6. In a modification, the bands are on the same level, and the bands and tail-piece are each formed with a separate slit. The slit in the tailpiece gives secure anchorage in the vulcanite of the denture.
