186,851. Kort, L. Nov. 4, 1921. Power hammers.-Relates to eccentric-actuated hammers and consists in means for varying the eccentricity while the hammer is at work. Figs. 1 and 2 show a helved hammer in which the motion of the eccentric is conveyed to the hammer shaft b by a lever d! and a spring e. The eccentric f is mounted on the shaft n between collars o, and is adjusted by a pair of wedges p carried by sleeves r, s and moved longitudinally of the shaft by mechanism engaging the grooved sleeve r.
