Eccentrics.-In a variable-throw eccentric, particularly applicable for internal-combustion engines, of the type in which a sheave a is moved on a squared portion of a sleeve d by means of an inclined slot f in a spindle e working inside the sleeve, the end of the spindle e is flattened and passes through a slot in a bar g secured to the sheave. A pin d<1> carried by the bar g engages the slot f.
