Abstract

186,383. Morrison, C. H. W., and M. & P. Enterprises, Ltd. May 26, 1921. Vaporizing by heat.-4 device suitable for evaporating chemical compounds having antiseptic or disinfecting properties, comprises a base 1. on which stands a, pair of upright conductive legs 7 carrying detachable resistance elements 6 between their upper ends, and a cover 3 which may be perforated and has a cup-like depression 2 on its upper surface. The base, which may be of wood, vulcanite or ebonite, carries a cover 1A for the terminals 5, and an asbestos sheet 8. The resistance elements consist of mica strips wound with wire and may be bent to the same shape as the depression 2.
