Supports for motorcycles &c. comprise a pair of pivoted triangular frames a, one on each side of the back wheel and connected together near their rear corners c<1> by a crossrod, the pivot b lying a short distance in front of and level with the axle of the back wheel, and the ground-engaging members c being in the form of arcs struck from the centre of the back wheel, so that, when the support is lowered to the ground and the cycle is moved rearwardly, the back wheel is raised progressively from the ground until the support assumes the position shown; integral stops e then abut against the members g of the cycle frame.
