Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act], Toothed pinions. - Bevel-pinions &c. for the feed-rolls of rolling mills &c. are made by forging a rough or partly formed steel blank by means of a die carried by the tup of a drop hammer or the head of a press. The pinions are then dressed to remove fins &c. and subjected to heat treatment.
