185,263. Spurr, A. June 25, 1921. Machine cutters, grinding in situ.-In a discknife bacon slicing-machine, independently adjustable sharpening wheels N, N' are mounted on a pillar O, vertically adjustable by a screw o, and bear one on each side of the knife. The wheel N or N' is put into or out of operation by a handle n<2> attached to the spindle n on which the wheel revolves. The handle n<2> slides over a cam surface n<1> and the wheel is thereby advanced or withdrawn.
