Abstract

184,050. Nowlan, H. J. July 27, 1921. Reinforced concrete.-Reinforcements for concrete roads, slabs, or the like comprise top and bottom horizontal reticulated frameworks, each consisting; of longitudinal members B, C and transverse members D, E, the respective frameworks being connected by sinuous longitudinal members F forming shear reinforcements in parallel planes. The parts may be folded by turning the shear reinforcements at rightangles to the plane of Fig. 1. Coils or clips A are employed to connect the longitudinal, transverse, and shear members. Additional and transverse shear members G are placed in position during erection of the reinforcement.
