Abstract

183,530. Griffiths, W. H. April 9, 1921. Roofing, sheet-metal.-Metal plates for roof and like coverings are provided with perforated projections which allow heated air and moisture to escape from beneath but prevent the entrance of rain. The perforations may be small holes or narrow slits, and the sides 4 of the projections slope outwards to the base. When corrugated plates are used, the projections are formed along the crests.
