182,025. Dehn, F. B., (Noceem Rubber Corporation). Aug. 12, 1921. Air tubes and chambers.-Alternate ridges 5 and depressions 6 are formed on a part or the whole of a pneumatic tube which has been given a permanent elliptical set. In manufacture, the raw rubber tube 4 is compressed in a divided elliptical mould 1 which has ribs 2 and depressions 3 formed on its inner surface. The tube is then vulcanized.
