181,387. Skywing Aircraft Corporation, (Assignees of Harper, W.). Dec. 1, 1920, [Convention date]. Sparking-plugs. - In a revolving- cylinder engine having a rotary tubular distributing-valve 1, ignition-ports 3 lead to a chamber 2 furnished with sparking- points 4, 5, the terminal 4 being bored as shown at 9, and the terminal 5 having a recess 6 covered by a conical cap 7 having a small hole 8. Gas enters the recesses during the engine compression strokes, and expanding when fired spreads the flame, thus improving the reliability of the ignition.
