Fluid-actuated valves.- Means for transmitting power hydraulically, for example from an engine governor, comprises a cylinder a, Fig. 1, having a piston d acted on by pressure entering at c and carrying a valve e controlling an inlet and outlet h, i for liquid supplied from an independent source, a conduit g leading to the member to be operated. The piston d may differ in diameter from the valve e, and may be subject to the action of an adjustable spring, and the valve may control the outlet i only. In another form, the piston and valve arranged in separate cylinders are connected by links p, Fig. 4, to a spring-controlled lever o.
