Gas fires ; trivets; guards. - Comprises detail improvements in gas fires having a boiling-burner beneath a holed trivet, the arrangement being such that the burner and fittings may be readily fixed to the plain gas fire. The boiling-burner 1 is bolted to the underside of the fuel-plate, the end 6 being slipped' over the injector tuba 7. The casings of the taps 9, 10 supplying the fire and boiling burners respectively'are in two parts screwed together, Fig. 12, so that the top 10 may be added when. required. A removable trivet 14 is carried by the front of the fuel plate over the burner 1 having a central aperture with a removable ring- plate 20 having radial arms 21 projecting above the surface of the trivet to carry the kettle &c. When the boiling burner is not in use a plain cover is placed on top of the trivet. A horizontal' rod 28 carried by hooked rods from the cross rod 23 guards the radiants from injury by the utensil on the trivet.
