Fire-bars. - In a gas producer in which the fuel enters through a rotary feed G and a tube F, the fire-bars are successively rocked by cams K mounted on a rotating shaft K<1> which also drives pumps for supplying oils or hydrocarbons for enriching the gas and water to the cooling jacket. The ashes fall into an ashpan D from which they are withdrawn through a rotary discharge L.
