Abstract

176,693. Hallam, D. K. April 12, 1921. Couplings for tractors.-In a laterally adjustable coupling between a tractor and an agricultural implement, the draw-bolt is mounted to slide transversely in guides and is adjusted from a hand-lever through link-work. The draw-bolt C is provided with shoulders which retain it in position between transverse guide-bars A, A', B, B<1>, secured to the rear of the tractor. The drawbolt is operated from the hand-lever F through a lever E and link G, the lever E being pivoted at the upper end of a standard D, the position of which can be varied. The hand-lever F can be locked in any position by a toothed sector H. The bars B, B<1> may be turned relatively to the bars A, A<1> about the axis R to a limited extent to accommodate difference of level between the tractor and implement.
