Alarms operated by fusible devices.-In a temperature alarm of the kind described in the parent Specification, the fusible insulating-mass 7 normally supports several metal balls 8, which are acted upon by the heavy cylinder 4 and are adapted, when the mass 7 melts, to guide the downward movement of the cylinder 4 and to make contact between the metal case 5 and a contact-stud 6 on a contact-pin 1 passing through an insulating-plug 3, thus closing an I electric alarm circuit. The device is provided with a plug and contact-pin at one end only, and is re-set by successively heating it and cooling it in the reversed position.
