The clip, Fig. 1, has a base c, of channel section and bent at c<2> to form a groove for the rod or tube a of the cycle frame. The jaws f are hinged at f<4> to pressure arms g, and pressure is exerted for clamping by means of bolts e which pass through the pressure arm, jaw and base. Nuts h<4> on these bolts clamp the device to a rod h, to which leg guards i are attached as shown in Fig. 4.
