Portable locks.-A lock, adapted to co-operate with a pair of staples, has a pair of bolts, one of which is threaded into one of the staples whilst the other can then be displaced relatively to the first to engage the other staple. The form described comprises a case b having openings a, a<1> in the rear wall thereof adapted to be passed over the staples c, c<1> respectively. The locking bolt d is provided with bolt pins e, e<1> adapted to enter the two partitions f, f<1>, f<2>, f<3>, constructed in the interior of the lock.
