Abstract
170,375. Stone & Co., Ltd., J., and Honey, A. E. July 16, 1920. Commutators. - The ends of the armature windings f are continued beyond their point of connection to the risers g of the commutator segments c and are soldered or clipped to fins h which serve to cool the soldered connections both by direct conduction of heat and by circulating air. The fins are lodged in lugs j on the segments c, and they may project over the risers g. The conductors f may terminate on the fins, or project beyond them to act as radiators.
