Feeding and winding webs.-In a machine of the type described in the parent Specification for jcining kinematograph films, a strip of celluloid is fed from a roll 8 by a ratchet-operated feedroller 9 provided with gripping-pins, and in passing beneath a punch 2 patches are cut out from the strip. After the patches are removed the remainder of the strip is wound up on a bobbin placed on a shaft 1<b> beside a drum containing a coiled spring 4, which is prevented by a brake from unwinding the supply roll 8.
