Abstract
168,957. Ward, J., and Lynton, A. W. May 15, 1920 Hand-bags.-A shopping or like bag made of flexible material is adapted to be folded up and secured in flat form so that it may be placed in the pocket when not required for carrying goods. The outside of the bag is furnished with a strap L for carrying the bag when folded and with fastening-devices G, K, the fastener K being carried by a strap H. The bag is first folded along a central line c, and the ends are then turned inwards by folding along lines d, f, thus bringing the bag into the form shown in Fig. 2. The two halves of the bag are then folded together, and the strap H is secured round the folded plies.
