Non - - supporting c a s i n g s enclosing spokes.-A disc E of Japanese silk or prepared canvas is secured to a wheel by having its edge D tucked under the head of the tyre before the latter is inflated. A hole is formed at the hub and also for access to the valve. The periphery of the disc and the edge of the central hole may be strengthened with canvas.
