Abstract

Moulding walls in situ.-A core for use in casting walls in situ is formed with resilient sheet-metal sides secured to a rectangular frame 11, and is tapered in its depth. At a corner a filling-piece 22 is used, and both the core-pieces and filling-pieces are provided with swivelling eye-bolts for transport.. The core is recessed at 13 to seat over the wall ties 14. The outer shuttering is secured by bolts 8 and distance-pieces 4, which have tenon and mortise joints with uprights 3 supporting the shuttering: and at a corner the jointing of the right-angle shutters is by mortise and tenon.
