Envelopes.-Window envelopes having orifices for securing the contents in register with the window by means of the postage stamps are formed with slits a separating off a stamp-receiving strip provided with one or more perforations A over which the stamps c are affixed. The slits permit escape of air and provide a flexible strip, thereby facilitating adhesion of the stamps to the contents.
