Abstract

162,870. Marshall, J. W. March 8, 1920. Driving external machines.-A pulley 13 for driving machinery is fixed to the rim of one of the road wheels by means of arms 17, which are adjustably secured by bolts 16 to the pulley spokes 14 and are pressed outwards against the wheel rim by a disc 20 bearing on the inclined inner surfaces of the arms 17. The disc 20 is drawn outwards by means of a screw 22, which bears against the hub of the wheel.
