Gas analysis.-The second measuring-bell a<1> of a gas-analyzing apparatus is cooled by a helix h which surrounds the tank e of the measuring-bell and through which cooling-liquid flows. The helix may be connected to a. branch g from the pipe c through which the actuating-liquid is supplied to a pump b, as described in Specification 16561/08, for moving the gas into and from the first measuring-vessel a ; by this arrangement an equality of temperature in the two measuring- vessels is obtained.
