160,657. Lawrence, B. March 10, 1920. Circular - saw machines.-A pendulumsaw frame is controlled by toggle-levers, and is moved, either by means of these or by a handle attached to the frame. A frame A carrying a saw B is connected by a link F to a bell-crank D, on a fixed pivot E, and provided with a handle. The weight of the lever D tends to balance the weight of the saw frame, and may be assisted by a counterbalance H. When the levers are pushed over the dead-point, the link F comes against a stop G, and locks the frame in position. The frame may also be locked by a pin inserted through holes in the link F and in a fixed part, such as the ties supporting the pivot E.
