Covers; rims of openings. -A cover for milk-pans &c. comprises a perforated cylindrical body A fitted with a fixed top B, a hinged lid C and a handle D as is customary and an inwardly inclined ring or conical extension E serving as a splash-plate, with which co-operates a cylindrical ring F soldered or otherwise removably secured to the cover or splash-plate so that the rim of the pan &c. may fit in the angle between the parts E, F. The cover is adjusted for pans of different sizes by detaching the rim F, altering its size as required, and again securing it.
