Abstract

159,794. MacIsaac, A. H., and Champagne, T. June 29, 1920. Loose-ball valves; casings. - A cam-actuated loose-ball valve is housed within a tubular humpshaped casing formed in two parts 2, 3 screwed together on one side of the hump. One of the parts is inclined and thickened to provide an integral valve seating 7 and is fitted with guide fingers 9. The spindle is supported in a removable screw plug 11 provided with a stuffing-box, as shown.
