Multiple fastenings for doors.-A cross-piece attached to the main lock-bolt operates upper and lower pairs of links A pivoted to the door at B, and to each other, the arrangement being such that when the lock-bolt is shot, additional upper and lower bolts E are forced horizontally into their sockets D. The movement of the auxiliary bolts may be made greater than that of the main lock-bolt.
