Abstract

157,682. Straub & Co. March 1, 1920, [Convention date]. Stencilling.-Coloured ornamental designs are produced on fabrics partly by embroidery and partly by spraying colours thereon through stencils before, after or during the embroidering. The spray-stencilling may be effected on the frame of an embroidery machine, either before, or after embroidering the design, or after partly embroidering it, and one or more stencils may be used for one or several colours. Dyes or colours which dry rapidly are preferably used.
