Abstract

157,677. Belz, E. P. May 10, 1920. Driving and like chains without separate joint pins; wire-link chains.-In a chain, particularly for traces of draught animals, each link is formed of a looped metallic member with converging shanks 6, 7. The loop at the open end has elongated eyes 10, 11, the closed end 5 being shaped to lie out of the plane of the main portion and in alignment with the eyes. The eyes are of such a length as will admit one of the eye portions of a contiguous link.
