Driving and like chains without separate joint pins. - To reduce rust formation and facilitate cleaning, the chain links on agricultural machines are constructed so that the connections present small contact surfaces, the eyes being formed as hook-shaped grippers and the bolts as flat pieces engaged thereby. The eye comprises two hookshaped grippers d reinforced by a rib c. The front end of the links have flat bolts e with reduced parts f. The links may each have a single gripper.
