Abstract

157,651. Alexander, W. Feb. 6, 1920. Pulley-blocks. - The frame 5 of a pulley-block is connected to the head 4 of the suspending hook by U-shaped straps 1 having bent-over ends 3, the axle 2 passing through the lower ends of the straps to transmit the load thereto. A two or three sheave block may be suspended from the hook by a suitable arrangement of two straps. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 5283/80.
