Alloys.-In making alloys of tungsten with other metals, particularly iron and steel, the tungsten is used in the form of self-sustaining compressed masses of tungsten powder in tablet or other suitable form. The masses may be added to a molten bath of the other metal, or may be added to the other metal prior to melting.
