Abstract

155,433. Whatmough, W. A. Nov. 10, 1919. Forming vials.-Relates to a modification of the apparatus described in Specification 131,532, which adapts it for the manufacture of roundbottomed vials from tubular blanks. The end stops G, H are fitted with nozzles G<1>, H<1> which direct jets of air into the open ends of the blanks and so set up pressure inside which blows out the closed ends to the required form.
