Abstract

The plasticated elastomeric material of the adhesive layer is transported into the housing of a two-layer film blowing die (17) with the annular channel (17'). The thermoplastic material of the carrier web (8) is guided into the manifold channel (17'') of the film blowing die (17). The emerging two-layer tubular film is cooled. In the process the two-layer tubular film is also cooled from the inside by means of internal cooling air (18). Provided sequentially in the film travel direction are a layflat device (24, 24'), a take-off device (25), cutting knives (26) which engage in the tubular film web and winding devices (12', 12''N). In this process the self-adhesive layer does not have to be applied from the solvent. <IMAGE>
