Moulds.-A mould for building-blocks comprises vertical sides 1 with outwardly-turned flanges 2 at the top and inwardly-turned flanges 3 at the bottom, cores 4 rigidly attached to the flanges 3, and tie-bars 6 connecting the sides 1. Within the mould fits a sliding portion comprising a bottom piate 7, having openings 13 corresponding to the cores, and end plates 8, one of which is hinged to the plate 7, and both of which are provided with a bracket 10 and spring clip 11. A modification is described in which one of the sides 1 is hinged to the flange 3 and has any suitable design formed thereon. This side is preferably made of brass.
