Abstract

154,459. Marks, W. J. Dec. 12, 1919. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Optical-projection apparatus.-Screens for use with optical-projection apparatus consist of a network of opaque or semi-opaoue fibrous material coated with a translucent material formed to present to the spectators nodules which are each framed within an aperture of the network. The network may have apertures of uniform size and shape, for example, rhomboidal, hexagonal, or triangular, and may be so manufactured that the predominating strength exists diagonally. The network may be dyed violet and may consist of butter cloth. The translucent material may be wax or celluloid, and the nodules may be pyramidal conoidal or paraboloidal in form.
