Abstract
435,105. Goggles &c. HAAR, O., 21, XX Karajangasse, Vienna. Jan. 11, 1935, No. 18067. Divided out of and addition to 432,254 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 17, 1935. [Class 97 (i)] In goggles or eyeshades according to the parent Specification comprising plates 6, 7 rotatably mounted on a rod 1 which is shaped to fit the nose, the plates are made of flexible light - dimming &c. material with holes 2 ... 5 through which the rod is passed, the plates thereby becoming arched with their concavities next the eyes. The holes are so positioned as to divide the plates into unequal parts, the smaller parts 15 being directed upwards when the device is used as goggles, as shown in full lines in Fig. 2, and being directed towards the eyes, as shown in dotted lines, when the device is used as an eyeshade. The parts 14 forming the nose rest are inclined as shown in Fig. 2, so that the parts 13 of the rod 1 are above the centre lines of the eyes.
