Abstract
Starting from the fact that the connection of air lines and electric lines is carried out automatically by means of contacts or mouthpieces arranged in the coupling head and that these contacts or mouthpieces are covered in the uncoupled state and this covering is capable of being pivoted outwards during the coupling process, the entry of snow and dirt into the lines and the contamination of the contacts are to be avoided. The device consists of the hinged-cover frame (1), hinged-cover carrier (2) and coupling (3) components, these components being movably connected to one another in a joint (4) and the hinged-cover carrier (2) being rotatably mounted on the line housing (5) and the coupling (3) being rotatably mounted in the coupling head. Stops (6; 7; 8; 9; 18) are arranged between line housing (5) and hinged-cover carrier (2), between hinged-cover frame (1) and hinged-cover carrier (2), between hinged-cover frame (1) and coupling (3), and a deformation protection (10) is located on the hinged-cover frame (1). A restoring spring element (11) is arranged on the joint (4). <IMAGE>
