1537187 Cryostats SELENIA-INDUSTRIE ELETTRONICHE ASSOCIATE SpA 10 May 1977 [24 May 1976] 19585/77 Heading F4H In a cryostat for cooling an infra-red detector 4 mounted in the sealed space between elements 1 and 2 of the cryostat, the conductors 10 for the detector enter at the junction of the elements in the form of a unit comprising a substrate which may be of plastics or ceramic embodying metal conductors as in known printed circuit techniques, the unit being sealed in position by a high vacuum sealing material and the connectors within the cryostat extending to the detector in a spiral path 14 and being supported by a flexible plastics layer.
