Abstract

1537120 Deburring tools HEULE AG VORRICHTUNGS - U MASCHINENBAU Gebr 21 Dec 1976 [30 Dec 1975] 53407/76 Heading B3C The cutting blades 17, 18, 19 of a tool for deburring the mouths of bores are radially outwardly urged, e.g. by adjustably spring- loaded ball 13, their outward movement being limited by faces 25 on the blades, Fig. 4, which engage the inner wall of the bore to ensure correct alignment. The movement is ultimately limited by sleeve 14, Fig. 1. In the alternative of Fig. 6 the effect of face 25 is provided by a ball 54 in a cup 51 which is mounted on a spring-loaded lever 53 which also carries a respective blade 17. The blade 17 or cup 51 may be adjustable along the lever. To prevent damage to the bore wall and to the workpiece top surface an assembly of bearings 21, 22, which may have a conical outer surface is provided and an adjustable stop sleeve 3 limiting the depth of cut is rotatable on tool body 8. In the alternative of Fig. 5 the force of spring 12 is adjustable by an axial screw 10 and the blades 37 are inclined to facilitate re-grinding without dismantling the tool.
