Abstract

1534861 Antiperspirant compositions WICKHEN PRODUCTS Inc 26 Nov 1975 [27 Nov 1974] 48544/75 Heading A5B A dry powder composition capable of being incorporated into antiperspirants is obtained by drying an aqueous solution of the ingredients and pulverising the dried product and consists essentially of from 45-97% by weight of active acid antiperspirant material and 3-55% by weight of at least partially hydrolysed water-soluble carbohydrate derived from natural waxy maize, the at least partially hydrolysed carbohydrate acting to buffer and encapsulate the acidic antiperspirant.
