Abstract

1531917 Valves INDUSTRIAS COPRECI S COOP 12 April 1976 14872/76 Heading F2V In a thermally actuated valve the coupling 2 between a valve body 14 and a casing 1 containing the actuating mechanism is such as to allow the casing to be free to rotate around the valve body. The thermal element 5 acts through spindle 7 and spring 8 to move an externally screw threaded sleeve 6 axially to turn rocker ring 13 to move valve stem 16. Depression of handle 11 releases a toothed connection 17 between the handle and a fixed sleeve 3 to allow the sleeve to be rotated by polyhedral projections 9, 12 to vary the control point.
